A busy day at Otley
A busy day at Otley

An early start at Westbourne House in Otley saw the Grand Summus, Most Distinguished Companion Andrew Sweeney, together with a team from Grand Senatus, consecrate the White Rose Consistory No. 95 on Thursday 8th May 2014. At the conclusion of the Consecration ceremony the first President, Distinguished Companion Ian Shevill, was installed by the Deputy Grand Summus, Right Distinguished Companion Ian Currans.

With the addition of this third Consistory in West Yorkshire, the Grand Summus then proceeded to constitute this Inspectorate into a Province. Right Distinguished Companion Graeme Hutchinson was installed as the first Provincial Grand Summus. The latter subsequently installed Distinguished Companion John Michael Beard as his Deputy and Distinguished Companion Raymond Charles Johnson as Assistant Provincial Grand Summus. The remainder of the first Officers of the new Province were then appointed and invested.

At the conclusion of the proceedings in the Temple, the Companions enjoyed a pleasant lunch.
