A Cold Start at SalfordAn early start at a freezing Hemsley House in Salford saw the Grand Summus, Most Distinguished Companion Andrew Sweeney, together with a team from Grand Senatus, consecrate Pomona Consistory No. 106 on Tuesday 3rd February 2015. At the conclusion of the Consecration ceremony the first President, Distinguished Companion Ian Ronson, was installed by the Deputy Grand Summus, Right Distinguished Companion Ian Currans.

With the addition of this third Consistory in East Lancashire, the Grand Summus then proceeded to constitute this Inspectorate into a Province. Right Distinguished Companion Howard Nuttall was installed as the first Provincial Grand Summus. The latter subsequently installed Distinguished Companion Ian Ronson as his Deputy and Distinguished Companion Trevor Jewitt as Assistant Provincial Grand Summus. The remainder of the first Officers of the new Province were then appointed and invested.

At the conclusion of the proceedings in the Temple, the Companions enjoyed a welcome lunch of Lancashire Hotpot.
