Gateshead Consecrations - Part 1
Leyland Installation

The Masonic Temple in Gateshead was the venue for the Consecration of Lindisfarne Consistory No. 111 by the Grand Summus, Most Distinguished Companion Andrew Sweeney, together with a team from Grand Senatus on Saturday 17th October 2015. At the conclusion of the Consecration ceremony, the first President, Distinguished Companion Raymond Duff Rodgers, was installed by the Deputy Grand Summus, Right Distinguished Companion Ian Currans. This is the sixth Consistory in the recently amalgamated Province of Durham and Northumberland and will meet at Berwick upon Tweed, primarily to allow Secret Monitors from the East of Scotland to enjoy membership of the Ancient and Masonic Order of the Scarlet Cord.

The Province’s seventh Consistory, Bedlington No. 112, will be consecrated at Gateshead on Saturday 21st November.
