Norfolk and Suffolk Amalgamation
The St. Edmund Masonic Centre in Bury St. Edmunds was the venue on the evening of Monday 21st November 2016 for the Grand Summus, Most Distinguished Companion Andrew Sweeney, assisted by a team from Grand Senatus to dissolve the Provinces of Norfolk and Suffolk, both of which were comprised of three Consistories, and constitute a new Province of East Anglia. Right Distinguished Companion Peter Rollin was then installed as the first Provincial Grand Summus. The latter subsequently installed Distinguished Companion Brian Vickers as his Deputy and Distinguished Companion Keith McCully as Assistant Provincial Grand Summus. The remainder of the first Officers of the new Province were then appointed and invested.
At the conclusion of the proceedings in the Temple, the Companions then enjoyed an excellent dinner
